Our Goal
Our goal is to provide a transformative experience for our young ladies, equipping them with the tools, confidence, and leadership skills necessary to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. Through a platform that empowers our contestants to become advocates for causes close to their hearts. By leveraging their influence and visibility, we believe they can bring attention to important social issues and inspire change. Our ultimate goal is to empower our young ladies to embrace their crowns with pride, positively influence others, and leave a lasting legacy of excellence and service.



Eligibility Criteria:
- Contestants vying for the title of Little Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean must be between the ages of 8-12 as of August 29, 2025.
- Contestants vying for the title of Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean must be between the ages 0f 13-17 as August 29, 2005.
- Provide a copy of your birth certificate and two photos: One full body and one headshot.
- Must be of Caribbean descent.
Must be in good health and can participate fully and without limitations in any program activities.
Application and Entry:
All applications must be submitted by May 15, 2025
Applicants must provide accurate and complete personal information.
A non-refundable application fee of $50.00 is required upon submission of application
Each contestant understands the Entry Fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable:.
Code of Conduct:
- Contestants are expected to conduct themselves with respect, sportsmanship, and professionalism throughout the pageant process.
- Any form of derogatory language, discrimination, or harassment towards fellow contestants, organizers, or staff will not be tolerated.
- Any falsification of contestants status will result in disqualification without benefit of refund and any and all prizes received must be forfeited.
- Contestants are required to strictly adhere to the Beauty Pageant rules and regulations. And if any of these rules are broken by the contestants, the contestants understands that participation disqualification and title revocation will be the resulting resolution to the matter.
- Contestants must conduct themselves in a proper lady-like manner and show high moral standards.
** Should there be any problem of any kind during the pageant or related events; the contestant is to go to one of the directors or committee members. Any unruly, unsportsmanlike or unbecoming conduct by a Contestants or any member of her entourage, or any disregard for the rules and regulations of this pageant can and will result in immediate dismissal from further competition without refund.
Rehearsals/Activities:
A Chaperone/Pageant Coach will be required to accompany and escort the contestants to rehearsals, training events and “ALL” pageant activities.
Photoshoot: A date to TBA
All contestants MUST attend ALL pageant rehearsals ON TIME.
All pageant rehearsals will be closed to anyone not participating in the pageant.
Contestants are required to attend ALL activities and arrive at SCHEDULED times.
NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE ON THE DATE OF THE PAGEANT OR PRESENTATION OTHER THAN PAGEANT OFFICIALS, CONTESTANTS, AND THEIR CHAPERONES THAT WILL ASSIST THE CONTESTANTS WITH PREPARATIONS.
Hair and Makeup:
Crème de La Crème Talent Unlimited, LLC will provide Make-Up and Hair Artist in the dressing area the day of the pageant.
Contestants can have their hair and make-up prep by their own stylist before the show and the Hair and Makeup Stylist that will be provided will just do the finishing touches.
Media and Publicity:
Contestants grant Crème de la Crème Talent Unlimited, LLC the right to use their name, likeness, photographs, and videos for promotional purposes.
Interviews and media interactions should be respectful and in alignment with the values of the pageant.
Rights and Responsibilities:
Crème de La Crème reserves the right to add, change or delete any rules and regulations at any time without giving notice.
Crème de La Crème reserves the right to change the date and location of the pageant.
Contestants and their Chaperones agree to hold harmless all persons affiliated with the Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean Pageant in case of any loss or injury occurring during the entire pageant and preparation for the pageant.’
Judging and Scoring:
- Judging criteria will include but are not limited to: poise, confidence and talent.
** “JUDGES’ DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND WILL NOT BE SUBJECT TO APPEAL.”**
Withdrawal and Financial Responsibility Clause:
By submitting this application and entering the Little Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean competition, I, the undersigned parent or guardian of the contestant, understand and agree to the following conditions regarding the withdrawal of my child from the competition:
Withdrawal After First Official Outing: Should I decide to withdraw my child from the competition after the first official outing and before the final show, I agree to reimburse Little Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean for all expenses incurred on behalf of my child. This includes, but is not limited to, any costs related to:
- Costumes
- Accessories
- Administrative costs
- Any other expenses directly related to my child’s participation in the competition
Sponsor and Fundraiser Contributions: If my child is withdrawn after the first official outing, I also agree to return any monies raised through sponsors or fundraisers for my child’s participation. This includes:
- Cash donations
- Sponsorships in kind
- Fundraising proceeds
Payment Terms: The reimbursement of expenses and return of sponsor/fundraiser contributions must be made within thirty (30) days of withdrawal. Failure to comply with this clause may result in legal action and/or additional charges as deemed necessary by the organizers of Little Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean.
Acknowledgment: By signing this application, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions stated in this Withdrawal and Financial Responsibility Clause. I understand the financial implications and agree to adhere to these terms.
Areas of Competition
- Opening Number {Presentation), Project Runway Wear, Cultural Elegance Evening Wear, Talent, Votes, and Question & Answer.
- Contestants are responsible for their Project Runway Wear, Cultural Elegant Evening Wear, Talent Attire and Props if needed.
Presentation:
Each Contestant will introduce herself at the beginning of the pageant. This introduction serves as an opportunity to showcase her personality, and make a positive first impression on the judges and the audience.
The presentation will focus on Poise, Diction & Voice Clarity, Content of self and Facial and Body Expressions. ( Time Limit 2 mins)
Project Runway Wear –( Little Miss E’Ssence Only) (Ages 8-12)
Each contestant will design and create a couture outfit using unconventional materials, inspired by high-fashion, avant-garde runway designs. This segment challenges contestants to think outside the box, transforming everyday items into a bold, innovative, and runway-ready couture masterpiece.
Guidelines:
- Outfits must be constructed using at least 70% unconventional materials, such as plastic, paper, metal, straws, bottle caps, or other repurposed items.
- Fabric may only serve as a base (less than 30%) and should not be the primary focus of the design.
- Designs should reflect high-fashion couture, showcasing structured silhouettes, intricate detailing, and artistic innovation worthy of the runway.
- Accessories, hair, and makeup should enhance the overall look for a polished and dramatic presentation.
Judging Criteria:
- Couture Design & Execution – Creativity, craftsmanship, and innovative use of unconventional materials.
- Concept & Fashion Forwardness – How well the design pushes boundaries while remaining stylish and wearable.
- Runway Presence & Poise – Confidence, elegance, and overall stage presentation.
- Material Integration & Transformation – How effectively unconventional materials are used to create a high-fashion look.
Music Submission: Contestants must provide their music for this segment one week before the show.
Time Limit: 3 minutes.
Flag Couture Wear – ( Miss E’Ssence Only) (Ages 13-17)
Each contestant will design and create a couture outfit inspired by their Caribbean heritage, using their country’s flag as the primary design influence. This is not just an ordinary outfit—it must reflect high-fashion, runway-ready couturewith bold creativity, elegance, and exceptional craftsmanship.
Guidelines:
- Outfits must be a high-fashion interpretation of the contestant’s flag, incorporating its colors, patterns, or symbolic elements in a sophisticated and artistic way.
- This is a couture segment, meaning garments should showcase exquisite detailing, structured designs, dramatic silhouettes, or intricate embellishments that elevate the overall look.
- Accessories, hair, and makeup should complement the ensemble to create a complete, polished presentation.
Judging Criteria:
- Couture Design & Execution – The quality, creativity, and craftsmanship of the outfit.
- Concept & Cultural Representation – How well the design embodies the essence of the contestant’s country and flag.
- Runway Presence & Poise – Confidence, grace, and overall presentation on stage.
- Fashion & Styling – Attention to detail, coordination of accessories, and overall aesthetic appeal.
Music Submission: Contestants must provide their music for this segment one week before the show.
Time Limit: 3 minutes.
Talent – (Both age Groups)
Each contestant will perform a talent that showcases their unique abilities, creativity, and stage presence. Talent acts may include singing, dancing, playing an instrument, acting in a skit, poetry, or other performances that highlight their skills. This segment allows contestants to shine and demonstrate their individual talents, bringing their performance to life with confidence and charisma.
Guidelines:
- Talent acts may include singing, dancing, poetry, playing an instrument, acting, or other creative performances.
- No instruments will be provided—contestants must bring their own instruments if applicable.
- Only foam or cardboard props are allowed, and they must be safely manageable and relevant to the performance.
- Talent acts must not exceed 5 minutes in total duration.
- NO fire acts will be permitted.
Judging Criteria:
- Execution & Skill – Precision and technique in the performance.
- Technical Skill Level – Complexity and proficiency demonstrated in the act.
- Confidence & On-Stage Personality – Stage presence, poise, and how confidently the contestant performs.
- Interpretation & Originality – How creatively the contestant interprets their selection, and the originality of the performance.
- Creativity & Impact – The effectiveness of the opening, development, and finale, as well as the overall impact of the performance.
Music Submission: Contestants must provide their music for this segment one week before the show.
Time Limit: 5 minutes.
Cultural Elegance Evening Wear – (Both age groups)
The Cultural Elegance Evening Wear segment is a celebration of Caribbean elegance and heritage, where contestants will wear evening gowns inspired by the vibrant colors, rich traditions, and cultural essence of their ancestral roots. Each gown should reflect the grace, beauty, and uniqueness of the Caribbean, blending modern sophistication with traditional influences.
Guidelines:
- Contestants will wear an evening gown that showcases their Caribbean heritage, incorporating cultural elements in a graceful and sophisticated design.
- The gown should highlight the richness of the contestant’s heritage, blending traditional influences with modern fashion.
- Accessories, hair, and makeup should complement the gown, adding to the overall poised presentation.
- Contestants will present themselves with grace and elegance, embodying the pride and beauty of the Caribbean through their Cultural Elegance Evening Wear.
Judging Criteria:
- Cultural Representation – How well the gown and presentation reflect the contestant’s Caribbean heritage.
- Elegance & Poise – The contestant’s overall grace, stage presence, and how they carry themselves in the gown.
- Creativity & Originality – The uniqueness and creative interpretation of the gown design and presentation.
- Attention to Detail – How well the gown is styled, with attention to fabric choice, accessories, and overall styling.
- Stage Presence – Confidence, posture, and how the contestant presents herself on stage.
Music Submission: Contestants must provide their music for this segment one week before the show.
Time Limit: 4 minutes.
Voting Segment: (Both age groups)
Votes / Miss Popularity Vote Sales:
Each contestant will the opportunity to sell votes become the winner of Miss Popularity.
Voting Fee:
– Each vote for the Miss Popularity title costs $3.00 ea.. Votes can be cast by anyone who wishes to support the contestants.
Voting Process:
– Votes will be cast through a voting App {TBA}
– Supporters can vote as many times as they wish.
Voting Period:
– The voting period will commence on Date {TBA} and end on Date {TBA}.
– Votes submitted outside of this period will not be counted, and any fees associated with these votes will not be refunded.
– Refund Policy:
All votes are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges once a vote has been cast and the payment processed.
Code of Conduct:
All contestants, supporters, and voters are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respect and fair play.
Appeals and Disqualifications:
Little Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean reserves the right to disqualify any contestant or supporter found in violation of the rules or engaged in unethical practices.
Appeals or complaints should be submitted in writing to Little Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean Pageant organizers for review.
Announcement of Results:
The results of the Miss Popularity vote will be announced at the at the Little Miss E’Ssence of the Caribbean Pageant. The. contestant would the highest number of valid will be votes will be awarded the title of Miss Popularity.
Decision Finality:
Decisions made by the pageant organizers regarding the voting segment, disqualifications, and prize distribution are final.
On-Stage Question: (Both age groups)
Questions will be asked aloud and each Contestants will have two minutes to answer. Contestants must be able to express herself clearly, diplomatically and must project personality at all times. The Contestants must be able to state her opinion in a positive, decisive manner. Attention is focused on articulation, quality of response, ability to think on her feet, charisma, confidence and personality. (Time Limit 2 Mins)
